Moves project.
Efficient and sustainable mobility

Last September 2024, Niche Mobility reached a key milestone: the completion of the first phase of engine development, the Alpha Prototype!
This achievement has brought us one step closer to our vision of more efficient and sustainable mobility.

This progress has been possible, in part, thanks to the co-financing of the MOVES project with a final amount of aid of € 228,300 out of a total planned investment of € 658,700 and generating employment equivalent to 18 jobs. This initiative aims to promote projects that promote innovative solutions in sustainable mobility, as is our case.

This collaboration has been key to continuing the development of technologies that transform the way we move.

We continue to move forward with determination to make a greener and more efficient future a reality.

Moves II. Scaling innovation in urban mobility

Integrating Niche technology into shared e-bike platforms.

In June 2025, Niche Mobility successfully completed the integration of its Automatic Digital Transmission System (ADTS) into public e-bike sharing platforms, with the support of MOVES II.

This project enabled the transition from prototype to real-world deployment, adapting our technology to the operational requirements of shared mobility: durability, low maintenance and seamless performance under intensive daily use.

The project was co-financed through MOVES II (Expedient PR-MOVSING2-INV-2022-0511), with a grant of €177,780 out of a total planned investment of €296,300, and the creation of employment equivalent to 14 jobs.

By focusing on shared e-bike platforms, we accelerated the adoption of electric mobility in cities and supported operators in delivering cleaner, smarter and more reliable transport services.

Through MOVES II, Niche Mobility consolidated its position as a European technology leader in sustainable mobility, ensuring that innovation delivers measurable benefits for both society and the environment.

This project is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, and co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
